Also planned for the contest weekend is a full line up of entertainment, with a surf movie and DJ's in the Portrush Playhouse on the Friday evening and live music & DJ's on Saturday evening.  In conjunction with the contest an exhibition will run all weekend.  "This is Irish Surfing" is a celebration of Irish surf art and photography featuring some of Ireland's top surf artists & photographers.  "DubSurf" will roll into town on Sunday bringing an old skool retro VW flavour to the beach!

For this year's contest organisers have commissioned very unique trophies and there will be a wide range of prizes from our sponsors.  The whole event promises to be a real surf festival in Portrush!
